His talk will touch on why we as gardeners need to be aware of invasive species and be diligent about controlling them due to their effects on the ecosystems in our gardens and in the larger landscape. Most importantly\, Dr. Tallamy will give us concrete ways that we as gardeners in Alberta can make big contributions to biodiversity and the health of our local ecosystems through how we design and plant our gardens.
