DESCRIPTION:  \nThe meeting will start with the Annual General Meeting of the Edmonton Horticultural Society. \nFollowing the AGM\, we have an exciting speaker! \nThis meeting is FREE for members (as always) and non-members. \nMacro Photography: Revealing the Hidden Helpers of Our Ecosystems\nDara Ojo is a macro photographer and conservation storyteller based in Canada. He is known for revealing the hidden world of insects and arthropods through detailed natural light close ups. His work has been featured internationally by CNN\, BBC\, PBS\, Canadian Geographic\, The Weather Network and the United Nations Conference on Biodiversity. Dara has photographed across Nigeria\, China\, Costa Rica and Canada\, focusing on how these small creatures shape ecosystems in ways we often overlook. Through exhibitions\, workshops and educational outreach\, he works to shift public perception and inspire a deeper appreciation for the vital roles arthropods play in our everyday lives.
