A Wildflower Identification Workshop

The Calgary Plant Study Group will be holding a monthly meeting on March 7th, 2026 between 1-3 pm in the University of Calgary Herbarium (Room 13 Biological Sciences Building). Join us for A Wildflower Identification Workshop! Brush-up on your identification skills with a walk through our meadow of pressed specimens. We will simulate a May Species Plant Count right here in the Lab. Suitable for novice to advanced participants

Participants will have hands-on time to examine herbarium specimens and record their identifications, or join others in learning diagnostic characteristics to contribute to the list. Please bring your favourite plant identification guide (if you have one), a notebook, and a pencil.
