Mushroom Growing

Meetings are held at the Millarville Anglican Church House on the second Tuesday of the month,
September to May, usually at 7:30 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions however, January to March, 2021
are going to be Zoom meetings starting at 7:00 p.m.
FEBRUARY 9 – Fungi Akuafo
Our February 9 meeting is a presentation by Fungi Akuafo. This talk will provide an introduction to
growing mushrooms in your back yard. They will briefly discuss the mushroom life cycle and growth
requirements of mushrooms and step through how to grow mushrooms using the ‘lasagna mushroom
bed’ technique.
